This user-friendly safety plan can help you or someone you care for cope with distress or suicidal thoughts by organising individualised coping strategies and support services to keep them safe. This collaborative document assists with identifying and responding to triggers and warning signs. This safety plan comes with several 24 hours support numbers for within Australia.

Safety planning is best completed with support from a health professional or trusted adult following a comprehensive suicide risk assessment.

How do I download?

Step 1

Click on the resource that you would like to purchase, select the quantity you would like to purchase and click the 'add to cart' button.

Step 2

After clicking 'add to cart' a pop up message will display a summary of the items you would like to purchase.

You can either continue shopping for more beautiful and useful resources or click through to check out.

Click the 'check out' button. 

Step 3

After clicking the 'check out' button, you will be taken to the payment page.

If you have not created your Therapedia account, you will need to complete this step first.

After creating your account, you will need to provide your contact details and shipping details.

Then click the 'continue to payment' button. 

Step 4

Complete your credit card details and click the 'pay now' button. 

Step 5

After completing your payment you will be directed to a confirmation page thanking you for your purchase.

You will also receive an email confirming your order that will also contain a link to your 'My Account' area where you can download your resources. 

Step 6

Once you click on the link you will be directed to log in to your Therapedia 'My Account' area. From here, click on the 'Download Now' button and save your resource to your computer or phone.

You can also view previous purchases in your 'My Account' area.
